Witness world class recitals as part of the Miami International Piano Festival's annual Discovery Series. Russian pianist Arsenii Moon will make his debut at The Wolfsonian - FIU on January 26. His program will include works by Debussy, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff and Mussorgsky, showcasing his technical prowess and interpretative style.
Arsenii Moon, born in St. Petersburg in 1999, is recognized for his brilliant technique and elegance. His musical journey began at the age of six, studying under Elena Zyabreva, and later with Alexander Sandler at the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Currently, he is a student of Sergei Babayan at The Juilliard School in New York.
A winner of the prestigious 64th International Piano Competition Ferruccio Busoni, Moon’s career has seen him perform in major concert halls across Europe, Asia and the U.S. He has earned numerous accolades, including the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Award and prizes at the Horowitz Competition, the Cliburn Junior Competition and the Artur Rubinstein in Memoriam competition. His upcoming 2024-25 concert season includes over 50 performances solo and with orchestras in renowned venues such as Konzerthaus Vienna, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Seoul Arts Center.
