Intimate Dinners
These smaller, sit-down dinners at various restaurants around Miami often sell out fast because they offer the chance to have the world’s greatest chefs – like Daniel Boulud, Andrew Zimmern and Bobby Flay – cook for you. The chefs often mingle with guests between courses.
Late-night Parties
The energy at late-night parties is palpable, and you never know which famous chefs you’ll rub shoulders with. There’s often entertainment, and, of course, loads of food and drinks. During Saturday’s Noche Cubana, helmed by Miami culinary royalty Michelle Bernstein and partner David Martinez at the Kimpton Surfcomber Miami, South Beach hotel, expect Cuban-inspired food and cocktails tinged with Bacardi rum, music and salsa dancing.
Brunches & Lunches
The star-studded brunches and lunches include trendy fashion shows, a rowdy drag show extravaganza and more, all topped off with amazing food and drinks. You can sample everything from dim sum to a pasta omakase. If brunch is your speed, carve out time for Saturday’s Jazz Brunch, hosted by renowned chefs Michael Symon and Michael Teich at the new Brickell hot spot Delilah Miami.
Master Classes
Curious about the tips and tricks of a standout chef? Take a master class with the chefs themselves. For $139, you can learn the art of layering a Cuban sandwich from the pros at Sanguich De Miami or attend a taco-crafting master class by Miami-based The Wolf of Tacos.
